Youth: Ultimate Art Camp
We guarantee the ultimate art experience! Our camp provides a range of different art experiences to be explored each day. Students will create dynamic works of art from the whimsical to the functional! Campers will use a variety of materials and mediums such as clay, mosaic, decoupage, and mixed media. They will also explore painting and drawing. In addition to the art projects, campers will get a chance to let loose and have fun in our play room that is equipped with music, games, dress up clothes, parachutes, and more. All campers should bring a snack with a beverage and wear art clothes.

Pique Assiette is a style of mosaic using a variety of recycled materials. What a great way to recycle and reuse old plates and ceramics! For this class we have developed a series of mixed media and hands-on art projects. Children try out every art medium as they get an opportunity to explore clay, paints, mosaics, paper Mache, decoupage and more while developing a rich imagination. Our goal is to give children the opportunity to express themselves and experience personal growth through the arts.
Clay Time (Ages 4-6 yrs)
It's Clay Time! Each week you and your child will have fun creating beautiful three-dimensional projects such as plates, animals, people, birdhouses, etc. Interaction with other students and hands-on instruction provide an exciting environment for the budding artist. Beginning Potter's Wheel for Youth (10-15 yrs)
Have you ever wanted to make a pot on the potter's wheel? Feel the clay through your fingers as it spins on the wheel? Get ready to have a blast, because this is the class for you. Students will first focus on wedging the clay, centering, pulling basic forms, trimming and glazing. Students will learn to throw cylinders, bowls, and handles for cups. All completed pieces will be glazed and fired. An additional 1 hour practice time per week is available during open studio hours.
