Party Policies and Project Choices

Let us host a party for your child and friends. We offer a selection of different packages guaranteed to make it a fun time for all! We also offer open studio time- just come in and select a ceramic piece and decorate it to your heart's content. Here's some of what you can expect for your party:
+ All parties are 2 hours long, unless otherwise specified.
+ We will provide tablecloths and one balloon for each guest to take home.
+ One project per person.
+ You can arrive 15 minutes before the party starts to set-up. If you need additional time, half an hour is $40 and 1 hour is $80.
+ Please advise your guests to arrange for pick-up 15 minutes before the party ends so you have sufficient time for clean-up.
+ If there is any change in the total number of guests participating, please provide us with at least 24 hours notice.

Pottery Painting- $23 per guest

Age Ranges 3 and up
Each guest picks one ceramic piece to paint from our wide range of options on our designated shelves. Once instructed the guests will be able to use their imaginations to create and paint.  All of the finished pieces will be glazed and fired.

Create with Clay- $23 per guest

Age Ranges 3 and up
Guests will get their hands dirty by making their own clay creations out of natural colored clay and learning the common techniques and skills used for working with wet clay.
*Note* Hand built clay projects need time to dry and must be fired twice. Please allot 2.5-3 weeks for completion.

Birdhouses- $23 per guest

Age Ranges 4 and up
This project uses a mixed media approach. First the guests will paint their birdhouses with a wide variety of acrylic paints. Once their projects have dried, they will decorate them with an assortment of beads, button, rocks, tiles, sequins, etc. This project can be interchanged with the terra cotta pots.

Terra Cotta Pots- $23 per guest

Age Ranges 4 and up
 
First the guests will paint their pots with acrylic paints in a variety of bright colors.  Once their pots have dried, the guests will decorate with a mixture of beads, buttons, rocks, tiles, sequins, etc.

Wind Chimes- $23 per guest

Age Ranges 3 and up
This project is great for building hand-eye coordination. Each guest will pick from a variety of premade shapes to bead together. Once beaded, the guests will assemble a colorful, fun wind chime to take with them that day.

Wood Frames- $20 per guest

Age Ranges 2 and up
Here is one for the younger budding artist. This project involves painting with acrylic paints and then decorating with a mixed selection of fun pieces that are glued in place by the guest.

Potter's Wheel- $35 per guest

Age Ranges 10 and up
Learn to throw pots on the wheel! This is a great party for a smaller crowd. We can instruct from 4 to 7 guests. A dedicated instructor will give you a demonstration as well as help the guests learn how to throw on the wheel by themselves. When the guests are finished on the wheel, we will dip the finished pieces in one of our beautiful glazes. This party takes longer than our others; therefore this party will need to be 2 1/2 hours long.

Stepping Stones- $28 wet/$32 dry per guest

Age Ranges 5 and up
This project can be done either wet or dry. For the wet process we mix wet cement, place it in a mould, then have the guest press in various tiles, glass beads, rocks, etc. It is also a great way to preserve a hand or footprint. In the dry process, you select a premade form and glue on various pieces. Once it dries we will grout your creation. The final products can then be picked up within a few days.

Mosaic Mirror/Frame- $32 per guest

Age Ranges 8 and up
This is a fun, unique party and the guests get a great keepsake from the event. We will instruct the guests on the art of mosaics and they will then have the opportunity to create a pattern of their own. This party takes a bit longer than our others; therefore 2 1/2 hours must be scheduled. Once the pieces have dried, we will grout them to complete the project.

Chalkboards- $26 per guest

Age Ranges 6 and up
This project is fun and functional. We prepare the boards with primer and coats of special chalkboard paint, then the guests paint and decorate the outer border. The guests can choose from a variety of materials to make their piece unique as well as a beaded handle to hang it.
