We offer Open Studio and a variety of art projects for those who want to use our studio for a few hours of creative fun. We have a variety of art media and projects to choose from - potter's wheel, handbuilding with clay, pottery painting, stepping-stones, canvas painting and more. We offer Terra Cotta pots, Windchimes and Suncatchers. You can even paint a birdhouse to put in your backyard!
You pay your studio fee and the cost of your art project. You have many choices!! It’s fun, easy & a great way to relax! Gather some friends and try this together- we think you’ll like it!

Child studio fee: $7 plus the price of the project

Buy some clay, find a cozy spot, and create a project of your choice.
The Studio Fee for clay play is $18 per person for all ages plus the price of your clay.
*The Studio Fee includes use of the studio and tools; advice from our trained staff; and two 1-hour studio visits (one to create and one to paint). You may keep up to 2 clay pieces for each quantity of clay. The two firings and glaze are included. Allow up to two weeks for drying and firing.

Private handbuilding lesson
Choose one clay piece to create: plate, mug, bowl, animal bank, etc. The Private Lesson includes two visits; the first visit is for creating the project, and the second visit is for glazing your project (Allow two weeks for drying and firing). Included in the mini-lesson is the instruction, clay, glaze and the firing fees. Each visit is roughly an hour long.
Incudes: 3 lbs clay
1-st visit: 1-1/2 hours of instruction and creating
2-nd visit: 1 hour to glaze
1 person: $45
2 people: $40 per person
3 or more people: $35 per person
Each person can keep up to 2 pieces. Any additional pieces are $3 each.

Potter’s Wheel Mini-Lesson
Our private wheel lesson is a great way to explore clay and gain knowledge about different techniques. Includes instruction, two studio visits, glaze, and firing. The First visit is for throwing pots on the wheel and the second visit is for glazing. Allow up to two weeks for drying and firing. All of our private lessons are one on one and start at 10 yrs old.
Due to the nature of the potter's wheel the number of pieces will vary.
Includes: 5 lbs clay
1-st Visit: 2 hours of instruction and creating
2-nd visit: 1 hour to glaze
1 person : $85
2 people: $75 per person
3 or more people: $65 per person
Additional time is $10 per hour

Bring back your projects and we will fire it for you. Clay must be purchased from the Art Beat, no outside clay.
