My name is Erinn Turi ; I graduated from San José State University with a BA in art education. I worked for United Parcel Service for eight years before deciding to go back to school, so that art would not be strictly a personal passion but a professional goal. I am so glad to have made this decision because I really enjoy teaching.
My interest in art began at an early age; in fact, I can clearly remember a summer art class I was enrolled in before the second grade. Because the classroom had only one potter's wheel and many students, the teacher decided to have a lottery: I picked the number four (4) and won! At that time I knew I was either lucky or meant to be an artist. It turns out that I'm lucky to still be involved in my own artistic work as well as to be teaching.
